Up in Soldeu, we would recommend going to the Delbosc Coffee Shop, a friendly little nook with good wifi, coffee, cakes and a super cheery atmosphere. In Canillo we think you should definitely check out Les Delicies del Jimmy. This bakery is one of the most beloved in Andorra, and for good reason, the croissants are authentic buttery wonders and the cakes, to die for. Heading further down the valley to Encamp, you can visit the Xocolatí Granja Cafeteria where you can enjoy pancakes, waffles and lots of other yummies to sustain you while you work. In Escaldes, why not check out ‘The Place’? Eco-food and really good coffee, just to let you know, it also has a kids area so if you are wanting peace and quiet on a weekend day to work, it may not be for you. As for Andorra la Vella, here you have a wealth of options for nomadding. The inimitable Odei Cafe, always a favourite of ours is a stalwart for working away from home. A new cafe in Andorra la Vella called Zenith which does good coffee and some delicious treats to keep you going has recently opened, cosy and with friendly staff. Heading up the other valley, in La Massana we would steer you towards Mon Bohemi – more of a bar/restaurant/cool place to hang out than a cafe but has good food, plenty of room and a cool atmosphere. Here you can work for a few hours and then congratulate yourself on a job well done with a few beers or a yummy cocktail. Asides this, Burratinos is a great place, delicious food, great coffees and a fab tea selection. Further up in Arinsal you can hang out during the summer at Fugazetta, a small cafe and pizza place. You can also check out El Cabin or Hunters, these are some of Arinsal’s busy bar hang-outs during the ski season, but a much more chilled affair during the day and the summer where you can get some things done. In Ordino, 2 of our favourite places are el Topic and el Nou Vertical – both with good food, coffee and WiFi to get your tasks done in a friendly, cosy ambience. Last but not least, Sant Julia. Here Bare Nostrum is the best place, it has a lovely terrace and is a good place to get your head down.
These are just some of the places you can go to enjoy the free wifi and check things off your to-do list. There are many more options though and to be honest, you could easily go somewhere new every day for months and not be in the same place twice!
Besides the cafe and bar option, there are also a few co-working space options in Andorra la Vella where it is possible to rent an office for a day, week or a little longer depending on your needs. If you’re planning on staying here for a concrete space of time and would like to have a more fixed space and amenities in which to work (sometimes trying to get stuff done in a cafe is like herding cats) then we can recommend you check out Coworking Andorra, Andorra Workcentre and Executive Andorra. Each of these places can provide offices, workspaces, meeting rooms and lots of other professional services.
Here’s to happy workers! Get it done.
