To begin this tour, your guide will meet you at your accommodation to explain a little about the route you will be taking, the historical importance to Andorra and why this tiny town, our destination, is so well-known in this area. You will then be driven up over the mountains by 4×4 on an ancient mountain trail from Andorra by our professional mountain guide. Get an enviable view of the Pyrenees that not many truly experience, off the beaten track and away from the crowds. Once there you will meet one of the town’s most welcoming locals (and our host and chef) at her charming rustic establishment. You will be immersed in typical Catalan mountain fare cooked on an open flame by our host and learn how to use a ‘porró’ to drink wine. The lunch includes wine, coffee and dessert (if you have room!).
